Themes: There are many themes included in the anime and manga comics and television shows. Some themes that are seen in these stories is romance, action, adventure, mystery, tragedy ,superheroes, comedy and much more. When adapting the anime show into a drama the themes are not changed because the story is usually based on the themes so they don’t change it that much. Age groups/ Audience: The age groups vary from children to adults because there are many storylines and ideas that appeal to different people. For example Japanese drama's are usually watched by teenagers and adults because it doesn't appeal to children and anime cartoons don't really apeeal to adults. Popluar amongst who? Asians are usually interested in these type of literature and movies/shows. It is because they are usually brought up with it. People from a non- asian background are interested in these sorts of shows as well because it includes themes and storylines that are universal and favourited by many people. Why is it so poplular? It explores themes and aspects of peoples lives. they can feel connected to it or it interests them and helps them to find a way out of their world and enter into a world of fantasy and imagination. Copying the Anime and manga characters: Many people go to events such as animania and cosplay to dress up like their favourite characters from manga comics. Objects from manga comics such as accesories, clothing and hair is what is accessible to the public to copy their favourite animations. Catch phrases from popular manga and anime shows are said sometimes for fun and entertainment such as the popular phrase from dragon ball Z "Kamehameha."
